What Makes Me, Me *~*
Failed Artist & Writer
I have SO many ideas. Visual ones, written ones, entire D&D worlds, books I've started... but I can never stick with one thing long enough to get good at it. I jump from project to project, idea to idea. So while I'm bursting with creativity, I'm honestly below average at both drawing and writing because I've never committed long enough to develop the skills. It's frustrating but also just... who I am.
Loyal Friend with High Standards
I'm the type of friend who will drive 3 hours in the middle of the night just to comfort you and drive back. I listen, I care, I invest deeply in my friendships. But because I give so much, I also have high standards for what friendship means.
Friendship, to me, needs regular interaction and mutual effort. If someone starts being distant without communication, I have to emotionally protect myself and distance too. I need friends who value our time together, communicate when things change, and don't just treat me as a backup option when their partner is busy.
I'm very understanding if life gets busy or priorities shift, but I need communication. Tell me what's going on. Don't just cancel last minute repeatedly and expect things to stay the same. Your time is valuable, but so is mine.
Tech Enthusiast
Tech has become a huge part of my hobbies! From 3D printing to vintage tech software projects to building websites, I love tinkering and learning new things.

I genuinely love talking to new people and building connections. Whether it's through traditional mail, email, or even carrier pigeons (okay, maybe not that one), I'm always happy to make new friends!
Hobbies & Interests ~*~
Recently got a 3D printer and can't stop tinkering with it!
Using vintage hardware for software projects. I've got floppy drives, MiniDisc recorders, and I'm working on old school software!
Coding is both my past career and current hobby. Building things with code is magical.
Even though I can't finish projects, I love creating stories, worlds, and characters.
Another creative outlet I dabble in (but never master!).
Books, audiobooks, webtoons - if it tells a story, I'm interested.
Love connecting with people through letters and messages!

What I Look For
I don't really have "forever favorites" because things stick with me temporarily but I rarely rewatch/reread. The stuff I do come back to? Those are my real favorites.
What matters most to me in stories: characters reacting realistically to situations based on their backgrounds I can't stand when characters act out of character just for fanservice or plot convenience

Pet Peeves & Dislikes >:(
Chewing Gum / Talking with Mouth Full
I CANNOT stand the sound of people chewing gum, especially while talking. It's like talking with your mouth full. The smacking sound is so disgusting to me. I don't understand how people can't hear themselves doing it!
Smokers Blocking Entrances
Why are smoking areas always right in front of main entrances?! Especially at shopping centers, airports, etc. You can't avoid walking through clouds of smoke with babies in strollers having to breathe it all in. It's infuriating and inconsiderate.
People Who Can't Maintain Friendships in Relationships
This is a BIG one for me. Going from seeing someone weekly to suddenly never because they got into a relationship (without even communicating why) is hurtful. I'm not asking to be their #1 priority, but I need:
- Communication when priorities change
- Honesty about availability
- Respect for my time (stop canceling last minute repeatedly)
If you tell me you still have time and then keep canceling, you're wasting my time. Just tell me you need space for your relationship and we can adjust! I'd rather know the truth than feel like a backup option.
